Check out this local (non 4-H, but great for 4-H members) opportunity–great for anyone in the beef project or interested in the beef project.

Kids & Cows Family Day is an educational event for all ages and experience levels. There will be educational seminars in the morning followed by Ag Olympics and a fitting contest over the lunch hour. The day will conclude with an open showmanship competition for various age groups followed by breed shows. Cattle are loaned for showmanship for participants without cattle. Showmen with their own halter broke cattle are encouraged to bring them. Registration is preferred.
