Meet Anne Williams

We are excited to welcome Anne Williams as the new Barron County 4-H Associate Program Educator!

Here is a little about Anne.

Hello! My name is Anne Williams, and I am excited to be joining Barron County 4-H as the new 4-H Associate Program Educator. My family and I moved to Rice Lake from Rhinelander this past summer, and my husband works in Cameron. We have three children, all active 4-H members, and you may see our family visiting clubs throughout the county as we continue getting to know the wonderful 4-H community in this area.

I previously served as the 4-H Educator in Oneida County for nearly six years. During that time, some of my favorite projects included launching a 4-H LEGO Robotics program in partnership with FIRST LEGO League, offering a Robo-Camp for youth, partnering with the Missoula Children’s Theatre to bring a week-long performing arts camp to our community, and creating a small pet project club during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My own 4-H journey began in southeast Minnesota, where I was a member and officer of my local 4-H club, serving as president, vice president, and secretary. Our club focused heavily on community service projects, including helping build a city trail and planting flowers along local roadsides. I also enjoyed exhibiting creative arts and pets at the county fair and volunteering in our 4-H food stand.

My family and I are especially excited to experience the strong county fair tradition and active 4-H program here in Barron County. You should be very proud of the opportunities and experiences being offered to young people in this county. We look forward to meeting more 4-H families, learning about your clubs, and becoming part of the Barron County 4-H community.

Thank you for welcoming us!
