Barron County 4-H Cake Decorating Learning Day

Cost $15.00, Scholarship available
Taught by: Cathy, Abigail, and Sierra Solum.
- Learn how to make buttercream frosting.
- Experiment with airbrushing on graham crackers.
- Be guided through decorating 3 unique cupcakes using tips and other techniques.
- Practice basing and smoothing a small cake that you will decorate including borders.
Each session is geared towards a certain age group -HOWEVER, This is a flexible system; choose what is best for your family (if you have participants in 2 age groups, you can one session for both.
(Please arrive a few minutes early to register and make payments, cash or checks made out to Barron County 4-H. so we can start on time, thanks!)
- (Session 1) 8:00 – 10 AM Geared to Cloverbuds, Grades K – 2 (Session limit – 9)
- (Session 2) 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Geared to Grades 3 – 5 (Session limit – 12)
- (Session 3) 1:00 – 3 PM Geared to Grades 6 – 8 (Session limit – 12)
- (Session 4) 3:30 – 5:30 PM Geared to Grades 9 – 12 (Session limit – 15)
SPACE IS LIMITED- Registration will begin at 9:00 am on June 17th, first come first serve. Registration is through 4-H online (wi.4honline.com) – Sign into your account and click “events” then look for the flyer. If a time is gone-that session is full.
Please tie back long hair and wear short sleeved shirts. Bring a container/box to transport your projects home and a water bottle if you like.
