Canada Fishing Experience 2025

What: 4-H youth will travel to Lake Pakashkan in Ontario. Participants stay in a cabin, fish for Walleye and Northern, take active roles in making meals and keeping camp, and socialize with other delegates. Don Drost and Don Peterson, experienced fishermen and co-owners of the property, will serve as chaperones and hosts of this trip. Trip dates are July 26-July 31
Requirements: be in grades 8-13, have or obtain a passport or passport card. Cost: $200 or less (depends on numbers and cost of mileage/supplies)

Requirements to travel
- Passport or Passport Card (the card is only for entering Canada/Mexico and is cheaper than a passport) https://www.dhs.gov/apply-for-a-us-passport
- International Travel Permission form (notarized)
- Health Form (completed in 4-H Online)
Funding available from Leaders Association: up to $150
**We have room for 6-8 youth depending on chaperone availability and equipment, registration does not mean you will automatically get to go on this trip. We are also accepting applications for chaperones
