Barron and Polk County 4-H are excited to open applications for 2026 4-H Camp, taking place June 30–July 2 at Camp Kiwanis. We are currently seeking both adult volunteers and teen counselors to help make camp a safe, fun, and meaningful experience for youth.
Adult Volunteer Applications
Outpost and Base Camp Roles
Adult volunteers play a critical role in supporting campers, counselors, and daily camp operations.
Who can apply
- Adults age 21 and older
Important details
- Volunteer selection is based on camp needs and camper ratios
- One FREE campership is included with each accepted volunteer
- Volunteers must be fully 4-H certified by May 1

4-H Camp Counselor Applications
For Youth 9th Grade and Older
Being a 4-H Camp Counselor is a fun, rewarding leadership opportunity for teens who enjoy working with younger youth and being part of a team.
Counselors will
- Help lead fun and creative outdoor activities
- Support campers throughout the camp experience
- Attend required trainings
- Build leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Who can apply
- Youth in 9th grade or older
