4-H Wildlife & Forestry Art Contest

Wisconsin 4-H youth are invited to participate in the 2026 Wildlife & Forestry Art Contest, held March 27–28 in West Bend, WI. This statewide contest gives youth the opportunity to showcase their creativity and learning through wildlife- and forestry-themed art projects.

Youth may enter up to six items across a variety of categories, including drawing, painting, photography, crafts, posters, and more. Projects are judged on storytelling, creativity, and connection to wildlife or forestry topics.

Local submission option:
Barron County youth may drop off artwork locally by March 1, 2026. Submitted items will be mailed to the contest location on behalf of participants.

Size requirements for local drop-off:

  • Flat artwork (drawings, paintings, photos, posters): Maximum 16” x 20”
  • 3D items, displays, or crafts: Must fit within 12” x 12” x 12”
  • Items must be sturdy and suitable for shipping

Important:
All participants must complete and mail their own official registration form and payment by the contest deadline. Dropping off artwork locally does not replace required registration.
