The Barron County 4-H Sheep Project is hosting a series of clinics for youth interested in learning more about raising and showing sheep. These events are a great opportunity for both new and experienced members to gain knowledge, ask questions, and build skills for the upcoming fair season.
Lamb Project Kick-off Presentation
Monday, April 13

Barron High School Commons
Learn what it takes to have a successful sheep project. This session will provide helpful information for youth and families who are new to the project, as well as tips for those with experience.
Presented by:
John Peterson, local sheep expert
Participants will also have the opportunity to submit questions in advance through the registration form.
Hands-On Sheep Clinic
Early June
Barron County Fairgrounds
This clinic will focus on practical skills for preparing sheep for the fair.
Topics include:
- Working with your lamb
- Washing and clipping
- Showmanship
