2023-2024 ELECTIONS, bylaws, re-organization continuation meeting, –for those interested in voting on new bylaws and continued discussions on organization of horse project, those wishing to serve leadership roles, all are welcome and invited). **New Members are welcome, however this is not an informational meeting and not required

January 14 at 4PM (Barron County Government Center, 335 E Monroe Ave Room 110, Barron WI) 4-H Horse Project Drill Team Informational Meeting. For ANYONE interested in being on the drill team. For questions about Drill Team- Contact Suzette Byhre at 715-651-9759.

Meeting Notes

(Barron County Government Center, 335 E Monroe Ave Room 110, Barron WI)

This is a required meeting for ALL 4-H Horse Project members old and new. All project information for the 2023-2024 year and forms will be shared at this meeting. New horse project members will have the opportunity to stay after the meeting to get all of their questions answered by 4-H youth and volunteers.

April 1: 4-H Safety Meeting (In Person) 6PM – (Barron County Government Center, 335 E Monroe Ave Room 110, Barron WI) — paperwork can be turned in starting at 5:00.

This is the required safety meeting for the year. ALL forms and registration fees are due at this meeting. Please note that a new coggins paper with photo will be required this year, as well as a premise ID, it’s never too early to start planning. If you’re not sure which horse you’ll be showing, you can turn in multiple papers and decide later.

Spring Committee Meeting – TBD

The 4-H Horse Project will meet on Sunday, March 26 at 4:00 PM at the Barron County Government Center room 110 (335 E. Monroe Ave, Barron WI 54812).

Any Project members/volunteers not currently enrolled in 4-H can enroll at http://wi.4honline.com all participants participating in the Barron County Fair will need to register through the Barron County Fair website when Fair Registration opens. Fair info can be found at barroncountyfair.com

Please make sure you are receiving horse project related emails, if you are not, check your junk mail, or contact the extension office to make sure you are on the the list.
